This paper outlines device IP bridging.
UberMedia collects billions of opt-in mobile location datapoint each day. This human movement data is supplemented with additional meta data about each data point and device emitting the observation. The collection of this data enables our partners to build targeted yet scalable audiences using a variety of various targeting methods, and also enables very accurate media attribution analysis. In many cases, however, the unique identifier of a mobile device, Mobile Advertising ID or MAID is not readily available to apply to a specific use case. In these cases, a bridge must be made from device IDs to some alternate ways of identifying customers and potential customers. Enter the IP address.
